Vivienne Westwood, does she need an introduction? The British designer has left her mark in the world of fashion, first as eccentric empress of punk in the 70s and later as fervent environmental activist and advocate of ethical fashion. Through her brand, Westood collaborates with the Ethical Fashion Programme, producing her line of bags in Nairobi, Kenya, where artisans create accessories made out of recycled materials.
This week Westwood visited the Amazonian region of Peru with the NGO CoolEarth, reports the website RevistaNN, where you will also find photos of Westwood with community members appreciating and handling the beautiful seeds and beads to be found in the region.
We cannot help but notice and appreciate Westwood indulging in a pisco sour in the photo below. Cheers, Vivienne!
